Start or Sit Week 9

Here’s a list of players (QB,RB,WR) that you need to start or sit this week. These players you need to start every week no matter what D. Brees, P. Manning, T.Brady, D.Murray, D.Thomas, A.Foster, A.Brown.

This will be a tough week for some teams since there are six teams on bye and four of them have very valuable players: Falcons (M.Ryan, J.Jones, R.White, S.Jackson), Bears (J.Cutler, M.Forte, Marshall, A.Jeffery, M.Bennett), Lions (M.Stafford, R.Bush, G.Tate), Packers (A.Rodgers, E.Lacy, R.Cobb, J.Nelson). The other teams are Bills (K.Orton, S.Watkins) and Titans (B.Sankey?)

C.Newton can be a disappointment if he doesn’t run the ball. This week he has an average match up against the Saints and start him but don’t expect too much.

B.Bortles has had just 2 good games so far and add the fact that he’s playing a decent Bengals defense, sit him.

A.Dalton if facing Jacksonville and has been consistent this season with just one game below 12 fantasy points, so he is a start this week.

B. Hoyer had an awful game against Jacksonville and if we don’t count that game, he has an average of 15 fantasy points per game! That’s a solid number for a week with 6 teams on bye, so start him.

C.Palmer has been good in his 4 games played with 8 TDs and just 1 INT. He is still only owned in 22.9% of NFLF leagues, so even with a tough match up against the Cowboys, start him.

T.Romo looks very good this year and is a High QB2 right now. He is the 12th QB in fantasy points this year, plus he has a good match up against Arizona (17.63 points allowed to QB per game).  Just one thing, he got injured against the Redskins and is day-by-day, so keep an eye on his status. If he plays, start him.

The Kansas City defense is the 5th toughest against QBs and playing against M.Vick. Who knows what he will do,  sit Vick.

A.Smith is really someone who can’t be trusted, but this week has the best match up from a fantasy perspective. So if you have Rodgers on a bye and you have no backups start him w/caution.

Start P.Rivers, he’s been consistent, has a lot of weapons and is a top 5 QB.

R.Tannehill was on a roll, but he couldn’t do much against a weak Jaguars team last week. He’s a decent QB2, so  start w/caution.

RGIII will play and start against the toughest defense against QBs this week (Lions are #1 but on bye). Coupled with his long injury, he needs to sit.

T. Bridgewater has a nice match up, but the redskins are a really good defense against RBs. So if Minnesota can’t run, it will be very difficult to pass, sit Teddy.

A. Davis has been inconsistent and last time he played the 49ers, he was only able to put 11 fantasy points.  Also this time he is playing on the road, so sit him.

Kaepernick had just 2 bad games so far against decent defenses. This week has a very good match up against the Rams playing at home, so start him.

D. Carr doesn’t really have a good team and is going to face a pissed Seahawks defense in Seattle, so sit him.

R. Wilson struggled last week against the Panthers and against the Cowboys, however he is a must start almost every week, especially if he is playing at home.

As I warned you last week, J. Flacco is a very inconsistent, but I understand if you are hurt in the QB position because of the byes,  so start him w/caution.

Big Ben won’t repeat his last week’s awesome performance and it will be a tight game against the Ravens, but he is still a safe start.

E.Manning had been doing very good this year, except for 2 bad games (very bad ones). He’s had 5 games with 15+ fantasy points and this week playing against a very tough Colts defense. The Giants may have to pass a lot to keep up with Indy, so start him w/caution.

M.Ingram has been great when healthy and his teammates P.Thomas (out) and K.Robinson(Q) will not steal any touches. He has a very nice match up, so he is a must start this week.

D.Williams will be the starter against the Saints and has a decent match up, but I just don’t trust that backfield. So start him only for very deep leagues; same goes with J.Stewart but with lower expectations.

D.Robinson coming off two 100+ rushing yard games and has a good match up against the Bengals, so start him as a Low RB2/Flex.

With AJ Green probably back this week, the running game for Cincinnati will open more, so G.Bernard is a must start this week.

D.Martin hasn’t been productive nor healthy this season, so next in line is B.Rainey. He has proven that he has some skills and against the Browns start him at RB3/Flex.

B.Tate comes off two slow games, but this week he should do better and still a start as RB2.

A. Ellington is a top-ten RB, very consistent so start him.

L. McCoy has been struggling this season, but this last 3 weeks he’s had 80+ rushing yards. Expect good production in a decent match up against Houston, start him as at RB2.

C. Ivory is playing the only defense that hasn’t allowed a rushing TD yet, but then he played against Buffalo who hadn’t allowed a rushing TD and he had 2. It’s a tough match up, but Ivory is the best option in the NYJ so start him w/caution.

The Chargers might wait on Mathews until after their bye week, so expect B.Oliver to be the featured back. He has been very good this season and has to be started as Low RB/Flex option.

L. Miller has more fantasy points than J. Charles so far! He is a must start every week.

With RGIII back, A. Morris will get less attention from the defense, I expect a nice game from him, start.

J. McKinnon is facing a decent Redskins’s defense, however he is the only productive player on the Vikes and will get the touches, so start him w/caution as a flex option.

Nobody should trust that St.Louis backfield, so please sit T.Mason, Z.Stacy and B.Cunningham.

F. Gore has been a disappointment this season with just 1 rushing TD! Start him w/caution, only because the Rams defense is kind to RBs. If he has a good game, try to sell high on him.

R. Hillman is someone who I like a lot (in 4 games has 86 PPG). This week he is facing a soft NE defense, so he is a must start.

Gray was the featured back in New England last week, but he might not be this week.Keep him on the bench to see who will be the guy. S.Vereen is a flex option since he is a flexible guy in the Patriots offense, start him.

D. McFadden has been productive this season as a RB3/Flex option, however this week against Seattle I advice ou to sit him.

A. Bradshaw is a must start. But don’t forget about T. Richardson, a clear RB committee. Did you know that Trent has 25 more carries than Bradshaw? You can start him as your flex (pending health).

R. Jennings may not play against the Colts, and since the game is until Monday Night, I advice you to sit him. However A. Williams will play for sure and could help you as a Low RB2/Flex.

I don’t trust any Saints WRs because it is really a puzzle to guess who is going to be the guy that week. Sit Colston, Cooks and Stills.

K. Benjamin has had only 2 bad games and has been very consistent. This week he has a nice match up against the Saints and is a must start this week.

A. Robinson has been targeted a lot this season with an average of 7.8 targets per game. He is facing the toughest defense against WRs, so unless you are in a deep league sit him.

M. Sanu is a very solid WR2 and even if Green plays, he could take some attention from the defense, so start him.

AJ Green is an elite player and if he plays he has to be started. Please temper your expectations until he is fully recovered.

V. Jackson has only one game with 10+ fantasy points, so sit him. On the other hand,  M.Evans has a decent number of yards (37,49,52, 65, 55, 78) and two touchdowns, so he could be a sleeper this week at the Flex/WR3.

A. Hawkins is clearly the no.1 option in Cleveland, who has an average of 5+ receptions per game and facing the second worst defense against WRs. Start him as your flex.

I hate the WR stiuation in Arizona, so all 3 of them are just Flex options.

T. Williams has been a very consistent Flex WR so far. I love him this week against Arizona, start him at WR2.

J.Maclin is a top 5 WR and a must start every week.

D.Hopkins is a guy I really like in the long run and even more in this match up against the Eagles, so start him at WR2. For fantasy owners, A.Johnson is a pain in the ass with only 1 decent game,  start him w/caution at your flex this week.

E.Decker has struggled without a good QB in the NYJ and has a tough match up against Kansas. Sit him if you have a choice. P. Harvin however may have a bigger role on this offense and has a lot of upside, you could start him w/caution at Flex.

Looks like E. Royal is slowing down again and that helps the other WRs. K.Allen has the most targets and could be started w/caution as your Low WR2. M. Floyd is a good deep threat and a high risk/high reward player that could be started as a flex.

M. Wallace has been consistent, but he is the definition of a TD dependent. This week he is a Low WR2.

D.Jackson has 4 very good games in his last 6 and looks a bit more consistent now.  He is a solid WR2 so start him. P.Garcon is someone I don’t really like this season, but maybe with RGIII he will get more targets. If you need to,  start him w/ a lot of caution as a WR3 or Flex.

With B.Quick out for the season, K.Britt stock goes up and you could start him w/caution.

The 49ers have 4 good WRs, which is not great for fantasy football. A.Boldin has been the more productive guy with the most receptions and most yards (Low WR3/Flex). Crabtree has been really inconsistent and is a player that belongs on the waiver. S.Johnson has been consistent in his last 4 games and could become a favorite target for Kaepernick. He is a sleeper at the flex. Finally, B.Lloyd is the only deep threat and if Kaep can find him, he will have huge games, but is a boom or bust.

E.Sanders is a top ten and a solid WR2.  Plus D.Thomas may be in Revis Island, leaving Sanders in better position to score points, he is a must start every week.

LaFell is a guy that I still like a lot and the deep threat in New England. He could be the second favorite target (Gronk 1st of course) for Brady, so he is a solid WR2/Flex. For PPR leagues J.Edelman is still a good start this week.

D.Baldwin is the no.1 in Seattle, start him this week, but lower your expectations because R. Wilson hasn’t been the best passer the last couple weeks. The Seahawks may turn more to M.Lynch this week.

S.Smith has been a little slow the last two weeks, but he is still the first option for Flacco (41 Receptions for S.Smith, 18 for Torrey and 27 for O.Daniels). So you should start him. T.Smith not so much, sit him.

TY Hilton has been awesome and he is must start. R.Wayne is coming back from an injury and hasn’t produced, sit him. Moncrief is a sleeper this week because he looks like a better player than Nicks and maybe more effective than Wayne right now.
