Week 15 Matchups Preview

Green Bay Packers at Buffalo Bills
Fantasy Relevance: 4 – Aaron Rodgers is a must start this week, the matchup is somewhat tough though. Eddie Lacy is a top ten running back this week. Jordy Nelson is a top ten receiver. Randall Cobb is in the top fifteen. The entire Packers offense is a little lower this week because of tough matchups. I don’t see this being a very high scoring game. The Packers defense is a top ten start this week.
Fred Jackson is a running back two this week around the top twenty for running backs. Sammy Watkins is a wide receiver in the flex a wide receiver two, and or a flex play. I don’t really like the Bills defense this week; I don’t see this game being high scoring but the Packers have potential to put up a lot of points. I would rather use a defense like the Giants, Browns, or Chiefs instead of the Bills.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Baltimore Ravens
Fantasy Relevance: 3 – Denard Robinson is out for the season. Toby Gerhart is the new starter but is much less appealing. He is a running only if you are desperate or in a deep league. It is tough to project if Storm Johnson will get any carries, so I would avoid this situation. Marqise Lee and Allen Hurns are wide receiver fours and have little value. The Jaguars defense should be avoided this week in and forever.
Joe Flacco is an okay start this week, and below guys like Cutler, Romo, and Manning. Justin Forsett is a top ten start this week. Steve Smith is a low wide receiver two, or a solid flex play. Torrey Smith practiced Friday but it is not known if he will be active. I believe he will be, and if he is Smith is a risky flex play or wide receiver three.. The Ravens defense is a top five option this week and I like them a lot.
Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns
Fantasy Relevance: 5 – Andy Dalton is only valuable if you are in a two quarterback league. Jeremy Hill is a top fifteen running back, while Giovani Bernard is in the top twenty five. Hill is supposed to be getting more playing time, so this lowers Bernard value some. A.J. Green is a top fifteen receiver this week. Green has a very tough matchup against Haden so he is lower. Mohamed Sanu should only be started if you are desperate, I would avoid him in all situations. The Bengals defense around the twenties this week so I would avoid them. I think this game will be high scoring so they will struggle.
Johnny Manziel is a top fifteen quarterback this week with high upside. I like him if you are in need for quarterback. Isaiah Crowell is a top fifteen running back this week, so he is a running back two. Terrance West is a lower flex play this week. Josh Gordon is a top fifteen receiver this week. Manziel doesn’t have a big impact on Gordon. Jordan Cameron is a top fifteen tight end and I think he’s a sleeper. The Browns defense is around the top ten this week and I think they are a solid option.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers
Fantasy Relevance: 3 – Doug Martin is a flex running back this week. Charles Sims doesn’t have much value. Mike Evans is a top fifteen receiver. Vincent Jackson is a solid flex receiver. I would avoid the Buccaneers defense.
Derek Anderson is starting, but I don’t think he has any fantasy value. Jonathan Stewart is a running back two this week. Kelvin Benjamin is a top twenty receiver this week. Greg Olsen is a top five tight end this week. The Panthers defense is around the top ten this week, I like them and think they are a good option.
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts
Fantasy Relevance: 5 – Ryan Fitzpatrick is a good option in two quarterback leagues. Arian Foster is a must start and I see him having another good game. DeAndre Hopkins is a top twenty wide receiver this week. Andre Johnson is a low flex play and I would avoid him this week. The Texans defense is a risky start this week. I would avoid them against a high powered Colts offense.
Andrew Luck is a must start. Daniel Herron is a top twenty start this week and a lower running back two. Trent Richardson is a flex running back. T.Y. Hilton is a top ten receiver this week and he had a huge game earlier this year against the Texans. Donte Moncrief is a lower flex play or wide receiver three. Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener are both very close this week. It is unknown who will get more opportunities. If I had to use one I would go with Allen but if you can wait for clarity. The Colts defense is around the twenties this week but I would avoid them because this game should be close.
Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
Fantasy Relevance: 3 – Latavius Murray is a running back two this week with some good upside. James Jones is a wide receiver four. Mychal Rivera is a top twenty tight end, but I would avoid him if possible. The Raiders defense should not be considered.
Jamaal Charles is a top five running back this week, and a must start. He is expected to play and should do well. Dwayne Bowe is a low end flex play or if you’re desperate. Travis Kelce is a top ten start this week. The Chiefs defense is in the top ten this week, and I like them a lot.
Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots
Fantasy Relevance: 4 – Ryan Tannehill should only be considered in two quarterback leagues this week. Lamar Miller is a low running back two or flex play. Mike Wallace and Jarvis Landry in the flex area because of this tough matchup. The Dolphins defense is a bad option this week, and I would avoid them in all situations. A lot of the Dolphins players that are usually good have tough matchups, so production for the Dolphins should come from more unknown players.
Tom Brady is a top five start this week. LeGarrette Blount is close to a running back one this week. Shane Vereen is a risky flex option. Julian Edelman is a wide receiver two. Brandon LaFell is a flex option and a wide receiver three. Rob Gronkowski is a must start as always. The Patriots defense is in the top five this week, and they could have a really big week.
Washington Redskins at New York Giants
Fantasy Relevance: 4 – Colt McCoy is expected to start, unless you’re in a two quarterback league there should be better options available. Alfred Morris is a fifteen running back this week. DeSean Jackson is in the flex range, he is listed as questionable so but I expect him to play. Pierre Garcon is a low wide receiver three. Jordan Reed is around a top ten start, his value increases if McCoy plays. I would avoid the Redskins defense because this game seems high scoring.
Eli Manning is around fifteen for quarterbacks this week. Rashad Jennings is a running back two this week. The situation is complicated though because Jennings might not get much playing time. This makes Andre Williams a flex running back. Odell Beckham Jr. is a top five receiver this week and a great start. Larry Donnell is a top ten tight end this week. The Giants defense is a top five start, they have a good matchup so I would use them.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Atlanta Falcons
Fantasy Relevancee: 5 – Ben Roethlisberger is a top ten start and has a great matchup. Le’veon Bell was great last week, and I expect him to do well again. Antonio Brown is a top five receiver and he should be great. Martavis Bryant is in the flex area but has risk because a lot of his production comes from big plays. The Steelers defense should be avoided because they have a lot of risk.
Matt Ryan is a top ten quarterback this week, I like him a lot since they are at home. Steven Jackson is a running back two or flex play this week. Julio Jones is a top ten receiver this week, but is questionable and might not play. Roddy White is around the top fifteen and his value increases a lot if Jones doesn’t play. Harry Douglas also has value if Jones is out. Douglas is a sneaky flex play. The Falcons defense should be avoided.
Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers
Fantasy Relevance: 6 – Peyton Manning is a must start. C.J. Anderson is a top ten start this week. Demaryius Thomas is a top five receiver this week. Emmanuel Sanders is a top ten receiver and both receivers should be great. Julius Thomas is likely to play. If Thomas starts he’s a top five tight end. The Broncos defense is around the top ten but they have some risk in what should be a high scoring game.
Philip Rivers is around the top ten this week. Ryan Matthews is a borderline running back one if he plays. He didn’t practice Friday, so I think it is unlikely. This adds value for Branden Oliver and Donald Brown, I prefer Oliver. Keenan Allen is a wide receiver two this week, I am optimistic about him. Malcom Floyd is around a wide receiver four. Antonio Gates is a top ten tight end this week. The Chargers defense should not be started because they are facing a great offense and this game will be fairly high scoring.
New York Jets at Tennessee Titans
Fantasy Relevance: 3 – Chris Ivory is a top fifteen play this week, and close to a running back one. Chris Johnson is in the flex area because of how good the matchup is. Eric Decker is a solid flex play especially if Percy Harvin doesn’t play. Harvin is questionable, if he does play he is in the flex area as well. The Jets defense has some risk and reward this week. It could go either way for them.
Bishop Sankey is a flex running back this week. Kendall Wright and Nate Washington are desperate flex plays or wide receiver fours. Delanie Walker is a top ten tight end this week. The Titans defense is a sleeper this week, but they also come with some risk.
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions
Fantasy Relevance: 4 –Matt Asiata is in the flex area. Ben Tate around there also. Charles Johnson is a wide receiver three or flex play. I would not start either unless I had to. Kyle Rudolph should only be considered if you are desperate. The Vikings defense should be avoided, this is a tough matchup.
Matt Stafford is a top ten quarterback this week. Joique Bell is a top fifteen running back this week, and I like him a lot. Reggie Bush doesn’t have much value now. Calvin Johnson is a top five receiver, and a must start. Golden Tate is a wide receiver two or a flex play. The Lions are a top five start this week and should do great.
San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks
Fantasy Relevance: 4 – Colin Kaepernick isn’t in the starting territory this week. This matchup is extremely tough and the 49ers can’t seem to do anything on offense. Frank Gore is in the flex area this week. Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree are wide receiver three’s and should only be started if you’re desperate. I would avoid the entire 49ers team if you can.
Russell Wilson is a top ten start this week and had some upside. Marshawn Lynch is a top ten start this week. Doug Baldwin should only be considered in deeper leagues as a wide receiver four. The Seahawks defense is a top five start and should be one of the best this week.
Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles
Fantasy Relevance: 5 – Tony Romo is a top fifteen quarterback, and should be an average start. DeMarco Murray is a top five start this week and should do well. Dez Bryant is a top ten start and should be solid. Jason Witten is around the top ten for tight ends. The Cowboys defense should be avoided in a tough matchup.
Mark Sanchez is a top ten quarterback. LeSean McCoy is a top ten start. McCoy played great against the Cowboys a few weeks ago. Jeremy Maclin is a top fifteen receiver this week. Jordan Matthews is a wide receiver two. The Eagles defense is around the top ten this week, but I think they have some risk. I see this game being high scoring so I would try to avoid the Eagles.
New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears
Fantasy Relevance: 5 – Drew Brees is a top five start this week. Brees has a great matchup so I think he will bounce back. Mark Ingram is a top fifteen running back this week Pierre Thomas is someone to consider in deeper leagues or if you need a running back. Kenny Stills is a flex play this week. Marques Colston is a flex receiver this week as well. Jimmy Graham is a must start tight end. The Saints defense should be avoided even though the matchup looks appealing that defense isn’t good.
Jay Cutler is a top ten quarterback this week. Matt Forte is a must start and should have a huge game against a bad Bears defense. Alshon Jeffrey is a top ten receiver since Brandon Marshall is out the rest of the year. Marques Wilson becomes an interesting option with Marshall being out. Wilson is a risky flex. Martellus Bennett is a top five tight end this week. The Bears defense should be avoided as well because it is not very good, and this game could be very high scoring.
