DFS Week 12 Picks

Welcome to my weekly DFS value picks.  This is where I offer a list of players that according to their price and usage in their systems (targets and overall touches), are the best options to bring you high production at the lowest price, making them great value picks.  I will not be advising you to use the “Top Tier” players, as they are the players everybody knows about.  If you haven’t played DFS before, you want to pair a couple of these great value players with the more expensive players that you know will come through with great numbers week in and week out, to give you the highest point total possible and ideally give you a chance to win some cash!  Draft King prices are annotated by the DK next to the price and FanDuel are FD.  So with that being said, let’s get it started!

Below are the players that I advised for you to use last week broken down into “Hits” and “Misses”.  If a player score 3 times their value, they are a “Hit”. EX: $4,000 x 3 =12pts.  This player would be considered a “Hit”.  There were 10 Hits and 20 Misses for those of y’all keeping score at home.

It was a brutal week for daily fantasy.  I like to say that the Misses didn’t perform bad, they just ran out of time to perform better.  My worst week yet! Gots to do better.  With that being said, let’s move on to Week 12!

QBs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

Matthew Stafford vs Phi ($5,800DK – $7,200FD) – Philly just allowed Winston to throw for 5 TDs last week.  The Lions should be able to put up some points this week.

Jay Cutler vs GB ($5,100DK – $6,900FD) – If Jeffrey and Forte come back this week, Cutler’s chances to put up great stats increase.  At the price, he’d be a great bargain.

RBs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

Darren McFadden vs Car ($5,500DK – $8,100FD) – Pnathers D is good but they are middle of the pack against RBs.  His role in the passing game adds a great bonus.

Jonathan Stewart vs Dal ($5,200DK – $7,100FD) – Dallas is bad against the run and Stewart has seen at least 20 carries in 6 straight games.  Shouldn’t have much of a problem hitting the 100RuY mark.

Eddy Lacy vs Chi ($4,700DK – $6,500FD) – If Lacy takes over the job again for G.B, his price being this is low is something you just can’t pass up.

Darren Sproles vs Det ($3,600DK – $5,000FD) – If Mathews misses this game, Sproles should see the ball around 10 times and all he needs is one long play to make the value as he has shown in the past.

WRs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

Alshon Jeffrey vs GB ($6,600DK – $7,600FD) – If Alshon is healthy you won’t find he can put up top 3 WR numbers. At this price, you can’t create a lineup without attempting to put him in it.

Golden Tate vs Phi ($4,700DK – $6,300FD) – The Eagles secondary is pretty bad and most of their attention should be on CJohnson, leaving Tate with a lot of one on one matchups.

Devin Funchess vs Dal ($3,900DK – $5,900FD) – Funchess targets have been going up so he should have opportunites to give you value for his price.

Marquess Wilson vs GB ($3,600DK – $5,800FD) – If Jeffrey misses the game, Wilson should see a spike in targets like he did last week when he had 4Cths for 102ReY.

TEs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

Brent Celek vs Det ($3,200DK – $5,800FD) – With Ertz being doubtful for the game Celek could be a sneaky plasy at TE.  He had 7Cths for 79 ReY last week.

Zach Miller vs G.B ($2,900DK – $5,100FD) – With Bennett being ruled out for the game, Miller should see a rise in his targets.

D/ST FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

Det vs Phi ($2,200DK – $4,400) – Detroit has allowed G.B and Oakland 29 total points the last 2 weeks.  Sanchez won’t be able to do much better.

SUNDAY-MONDAY GAMES

TOP TIER QB

Carson Palmer vs S.F ($7,100DK – $8,100FD) – With the 49ers season long struggle on the defensive side, Palmer should have no problem carving them up.

Eli Manning vs Wash ($6,500DK – $7,700FD) – I expect a big day form Eli after the Skins allowed Cam to throw for 5TDs last week.

BOTTOM TIER QB

Blake Bortles vs S.D ($5,900DK – $7,300FD) –  Blake should get back on track this week against the Chargers with all his weapons being healthy.

Jameis Winston vs Ind ($5,500DK – $7,300FD) – With VJax back from an injury, Winston’s numbers should get better so at this price he could be a bargain again this week.

Brian Hoyer vs N.O ($5,000DK – $7,100FD) – Play anyone that is playing against the Saints.  If that QB also has Hopkins to throw to, even sweeter.

Josh McCown vs Bal ($5,000DK – $6,300FD) – McCown has been named the starter again and gets to go against one of the softest secondaries in the league.

MIDDLE TIER RB

Doug Martin vs Ind  ($5,800DK – $7,500FD) – With Winston playing better, Martin should see less and less people in the box, he should continue to roll against the Colts.

Deangelo Williams vs Sea ($5,700DK – $7,100FD) – Yes Seattle is very good against the run, but DWill is the only show in town for the Steelers and his role in the passing game will get you plenty of points to make up the difference.

T.J Yeldon vs S.D ($4,800DK – $6,500FD) – S.D is allowing a league worst 4.9 yards per carry, I expect Yeldon to hit value with ease this week.

Javorius Allen vs Cle ($4,600DK – $6,300FD) – RB1 for his team and has a favorable matchup this week.  He will catch passes as well.

Chris Johnson vs S.F ($4,600DK – $6,800FD) – S.F is the worst against RBs, CJ should be able to hit value fairly easily this week.

Thomas Rawls vs Pit ($4,500DK – $6,300FD) – Rawls will be the starting RB for the Seahawks and should be the focal point of the offense.  He wont be this cheap next week, so take advantage of it.

Alfred Blue vs N.O ($4,500DK – $5,900FD) – Play anyone that is playing N.O.  This goes for the unspectacular Alfred Blue as well.

BOTTOM TIER RB

Spencer Ware vs Buff ($3,800DK – $6,100FD) – If CWest misses the game, Ware would be the starter and would see a lot of opportunities to build on his 96RuY and 2TDs from last week.

Ahmad Bradshaw vs T.B ($3,600DK – $5,800FD) – Bradshaw has done his damage catching out of the backfield, Gore is questionable with an injury so Bradshaw may have it all to himself this week.

MIDDLE TIER WR

Allen Hurns vs S.D ($5,800DK – $7,200FD) – ARobinson should see Jason Verrett most of the game, leaving Hurns with the more favorable matchup.

Martavis Bryant vs Sea ($5,600DK – $6,700FD) – While most of the focus will be on ABrown, Bryant should get opportunities and space to work his magic.

Desean Jackson vs NYG ($5,100DK – $6,300FD) –  Finally putting up some nice numbers last week and has a nice matchup this week 5Cths, 50ReY and 1TD and he hits goal, it can be done.

Kamar Aiken vs Bal ($4,900DK – $6,100FD) –  Now the best receiver on the team, should continue to hit value against the Browns.

Vincent Jackson vs Ind (4,700DK – $6,400FD) – Winston is getting better and Evans is seeing double teams, leaving VJax one on one for a lot of the game.

Danny Amendola vs Den ($4,700DK – $6,100FD) – PPR monster and if he is healthy he will continue to do work for you.

Stevie Johnson vs Jax ($4,500DK – $5,500FD) – Top WR option for Rivers should continue to see the targets and catching 6-7Cths a game.

BOTTOM TIER WR

Rueben Randle vs Wash ($3,800DK – $5,600FD) – Last time Randle played the Redskins, he went off for 7Cths, 116ReY and 1TD.  The Redskins haven’t gotten any better.

Nate Washington vs N.O ($3,800DK – $5,300FD) – Play anyone that is playing against N.O.  Hopkins should see quadruple teams, leaving Washington literally almost wide open.

TE

Delanie Walker vs Oak ($5,400DK – $6,500FD) – Oakland is pretty bad against TEs and Delanie is the best receiving option for Mariota.

Gary Barnidge vs Bal ($4,800DK – $6,100FD) – With McCown back at the helm, Barnidge should see more targets.

Crockett Gilmore vs Cle ($3,700DK – $5,600FD) – Behind only Kamar Aiken for catches, should continue to great numbers for the price.

Owen Daniels vs N.E ($2,900DK – $5,200FD) – I expect Belichik to take away DThomas and with Sanders hurt, Daniels could stumble upon some nice numbers.

D/ST

Arizona vs S.F ($3,900DK – $5,300FD) – Zona is hot, S.F is a mess.

T.B vs Ind ($2,500DK – $4,300FD) – T.B top ten against the run on defense, could surprise people this week.

Min vs Atl ($2,300DK – $4,400FD) – Minnesota has played well defensively  and Atlanta hasn’t gotten it together yet.
