DFS Week 13 Picks

Welcome to my weekly DFS value picks. This is where I offer a list of players that according to their price and usage in their systems (targets and overall touches), are the best options to bring you high production at the lowest price, making them great value picks. I will not be advising you to use the “Top Tier” players, as they are the players everybody knows about. If you haven’t played DFS before, you want to pair a couple of these great value players with the more expensive players that you know will come through with great numbers week in and week out, to give you the highest point total possible and ideally give you a chance to win some cash! Draft King prices are annotated by the DK next to the price and FanDuel are FD. So with that being said, let’s get it started!

Below are the players that I advised for you to use last week broken down into “Hits” and “Misses”. If a player score 3 times their value, they are a “Hit”. EX: $4,000 x 3 =12pts. This player would be considered a “Hit”. There were 22 Hits and 12 Misses for those of y’all keeping score at home.

It seems like I may have gotten back on track with my picks! So lets keep the party going! Good luck in Week 13!

QBs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

Matthew Stafford vs G.B ($6,100DK – $7,500FD) – Lions offense is on the uptick and Stafford has been playing better. Should be able to get you 250PaY and 2TDs at least.

RBs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

Eddy Lacy vs Det ($5,000DK – $6,900FD) – At least 100RuY in his last 2 games, Lacy seems healthy and is worth the low price.

Theo Riddick vs G.B ($3,500DK – $5,800FD) – At least 5Cths and 60ReY his last two games. For the low price he should give you points to build your team around.

WRs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

Golden Tate vs G.B ($4,800DK – $6,500FD) – Tate has 15Cths in his last two games. With most of the attention on Calvin like always, he should continue to work the single coverage for some nice numbers.

James Jones vs Dal ($4,600DK – $5,500FD) – Is he inconsistent? Sure! But the Packers offense still dangerous and for his price, so is Jones.

TEs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

None of the TEs are worth playing.

D/ST FOR THURSDAY’S GAME

Neither D/ST are worth playing.

SUNDAY-MONDAY GAMES

TOP TIER QB

Ben Roethlisberger vs Ind ($6,600DK – $8,100FD) – The Colts have allowed 260PaY and 2Tds per game their last 2 games. If Ben is healthy, he could crush those numbers against this defense.

Andy Dalton vs Cle ($6,400DK – $8,000FD) – Cleveland just allowed “MR Pick 6” Matt Schaub to throw for 230PaY and 2TDs this past weekend. Dalton should easily top those numbers with or without Eifert.

Derek Carr vs K.C ($6,200 – $7,700FD) – Carr has thrown for over 300PaY in 4 of his last 5 games and although the Chiefs have been playing better D they just allowed 300+PaY and 3TDs to Tyrod Taylor.

BOTTOM TIER QB

Ryan Fitzpatrick vs NYG ($5,200DK – $7,500FD) – Fitz should have no problem hitting value against the 27th ranked D against the QB.

Jay Cutler vs S.F ($5,200DK – $7,000FD) – Going up against the bad 49ers secondary, Cutler could put up some nice numbers with all of his weapons being healthy.

MIDDLE TIER RB

Doug Martin vs Atl ($5,900DK – $7,600FD) – Atl is 29th against RBs this season and Martin should be able to take advantage of that as he has averaged almost 20 carries per game his last 3 games.

Chris Ivory vs NYG ($5,900DK – $7,100FD) – The focal point of the offense for the Jets and is involved in the passing game, should put up nice numbers against a bad Giants defense.

Lesean McCoy vs Hou ($5,700DK – $7,800FD) – McCoy has either gotten 80RuY or a TD in his last 4 games and has averaged 4Cths per game in his last 4 games as well.

Deangelo Williams vs Ind ($5,600DK – $7,200FD) – Workhorse backs aren’t usually this cheap, so take advantage against a bad Colts run defense.

Javorius Allen vs Mia ($5,400DK – $6,8FD) – Should continue to get over 15 touches a game and should produce against Miami.

Darren McFadden vs Wash ($5,300DK – $7,300FD) – Now that “MR Checkdown” Matt Cassel is back at QB, DMac should give you more than enough value for his price.

BOTTOM TIER RB

Gio Bernard vs Cle ($4,500DK – $6,200FD) – With 15Cths in his last 3 games, Gio could hit value with his receiving numbers alone.

Shaun Draughn vs Chi ($4,000DK – $5,900FD) – His last 2 games he has averaged 20 touches per game, should see enough touches to give you value.

C.J Anderson vs S.D ($3,500DK – $6,800FD) – S.D are 32nd againt RBs this year and Denver will try to control the ball more with Osweiler at QB.

David Johnson vs STL ($3,400DK – $5,900FD) – With CJ and Ellington hurt, Johnson could have the backfield to himself, enjoy while his price is this low.

TOP TIER WR

Alshon Jeffrey vs S.F ($6,900DK – $7,700FD) – In his last 4 games Jeffrey has gotten 30Cths and 380ReY. He is a beast when healthy and his price still pretty low.

Jarvis Landry vs Bal ($6,700DK – $7,400FD) – 35Cths and 342ReY his last 4 games, Landry will continue to be the focal point of the passing game against a pretty bad Ravens secondary.

Michael Crabtree vs K.C ($6,500DK – $6,600FD) – K.C secondary may be what Crab needs to get back on track and he should this week.

Erick Decker vs NYG ($6,300DK – $7,200FD) – Has scored TD in 4 of his last 5 games and has burned single coverage all season long.

MIDDLE TIER WR

T.Y Hilton vs Pit ($5,700DK – $7,300FD) – It seems like Hilton is getting more comfortable with Hasselbeck and now they get the worst D against WRs in the Steelers.

Martavis Bryant vs Ind ($5,600DK – $6,900FD) – Bryant is always threat to take any play the distance. So with that and his price against the Colts, you almost have to play him.

Desean Jackson vs Dal ($5,100DK – $6,500FD) – DJax has gone for a long TD in 2 games in a row now. Against the lowly Cowboys, I could see three being almost a certainty.

Brandon LaFell vs Phi ($4,800DK – $6,600FD) – Brady is running out of healthy, trust worthy receivers. LaFell should see a healthy amount of targets against a bad Eagles secondary.

Kamar Aiken vs Mia ($4,800DK – $6,100FD) – Aiken has been solid his last 4 games averaging 6Cths and 85ReY per game, The targets will be there against Miami.

Danny Amendola vs Phi ($4,700DK – $6,700FD) – If healthy, plug Amendola in and don’t worry about a thing.

Donte Moncrief vs Pit ($4,600DK – $6,400FD) – Moncrief could hit value against the Steelers by halftime this week.

Anquan Boldin vs Chi ($4,100DK – $6,000FD) – Gabbert’s security blanket since he took over the QB spot, has averaged 6Cths and 90 yards the last 2 games.

BOTTOM TIER WR

Devante Parker vs Bal ($3,300DK – $5,200FD) – Parker will start for the Dolphins this week with Matthews out. Last week he had 4Cths 80ReY and 1TD.

TE

Delanie Walker vs Jax ($5,700DK – $6,000FD) – 2 weeks he had 8 Cths and 109ReY against the Titants. Similar numbers are expected.

Travis Kelce vs Oak ($4,700DK – $6,200FD) – Oakland is very bad against TEs and the Chiefs seem to be passing the ball better lately.

Julius Thomas vs Tenn ($4,000DK – $5,800FD) – JT has caught 1TD in consecutive games and with Allen Hurns possibly missing the game, he should see more targets.

Kyle Rudolph vs Sea ($3,700DK – $5,100FD) – The last 2 weeks Rudolph has 13Cths 159ReY and 1TD. Seems like the Vikings have finally figured out that he is pretty good.

Scott Chandler vs Phi ($2,500DK – $5,300FD) – Taking over “The Gronk” role, Chandler should see 8+ targets a game and should get red zone opportunities.

D/ST

Chi vs S.F ($2,600DK – $4,400FD) – Held ARod in check last week , shouldn’t have a problem versus Gabbert.

Min vs Sea ($2,600DK – $4,500FD) – Last 2 weeks they have shut down ARod and MRyan. Could be a nice game against Wilson with no Graham.

Hou vs Buff ($2,500DK – $4,900FD) – They kept Brees from throwing any TDs last week, that doesn’t happen.

T.B vs Atl ($2,500DK – $4,200FD) – Atlanta looks horrible on offense and they Bucs are hot enough to take advantage of it.
