Welcome to my weekly DFS value picks. This is where I offer a list of players that according to their price and usage in their systems (targets and overall touches), are the best options to bring you high production at the lowest price, making them great value picks. I will not be advising you to use the “Top Tier” players, as they are the players everybody knows about. If you haven’t played DFS before, you want to pair a couple of these great value players with the more expensive players that you know will come through with great numbers week in and week out, to give you the highest point total possible and ideally give you a chance to win some cash! Draft King prices are annotated by the DK next to the price and FanDuel are FD. So with that being said, let’s get it started!
Below are the players that I advised for you to use last week broken down into “Hits” and “Misses”. If a player score 3 times their value, they are a “Hit”. EX: $4,000 x 3 =12pts. This player would be considered a “Hit”. There were 15 Hits and 9 Misses for those of y’all keeping score at home.

Great week for my picks last week! Good luck in Week 15!
QBs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME
Neither QB is worth playing
RBs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME
Todd Gurley vs T.B ($6,700DK – $8,900FD) – Some people may shy away from Gurley again because of the matchup but sometimes you just have to believe in the talent.
Doug Martin vs STL ($6,600 – $8,200) – The Rams have been pretty bad against the run lately, so expect Martin to get plenty of opportunities Thursday.
WRs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME
Tavon Austin vs T.B ($3,900DK – $5,900FD) – Austin is always one good play away from taking it to the house so for this prize, he could pay off.
TEs FOR THURSDAY’S GAME
Austin Seferian – Jenkins vs STL ($3,400 – $5,400) – VJax is out so expect ASJ ‘ s targets to go way up!
D/ST FOR THURSDAY’S GAME
Neither D/ST is worth using.
TOP TIER QB
Drew Brees vs Det ($6,600DK – $8,000FD) – in his last 3 home games, Brees has thrown for over 1,000 yards and 13TDs. Brees should be able to do work against the Lions secondary.
Matthew Stafford vs N.O ($6,100DK – $7,800FD) – Playing against the Saints in a dome, Staff could be a great play.
Blake Bortles vs Atl ($6,100 – $7,900FD) – One of the hottest QBs in the league, Bortles should have no problem shredding up the Falcons D with all his weapons healthy.
BOTTOM TIER QB
Tyrod Taylor vs Wash ($5,600DK – $7,500FD) – With Taylor’s legs always being a threat, he should put up value easily against the bad Washington D.
Ryan Fitzpatrick vs Dal ($5,400DK – $7,800FD) – Over his last 3 games, Fitz has averaged over 300PaY and 3TDs and has 0 interceptions. His hot streak should continue against Dallas.
Alex Smith vs Bal ($5,100DK – $7,000FD) – Smith could have a quietly good game against one of the worst secondaries in the game.
TOP TIER RB
Lamar Miller vs S.D ($6,300DK – $6,700FD) – At some point the Dolphins should see that giving the ball to Miller is a good thing. The Chargers are bad against the run so Miller should get his numbers this week.
MID TIER RB
David Johnson vs Phi ($5,700DK – $6,500FD) – Over 20 touches in his last 2 starts, should continue to be used heavily against the Eagles D.
Eddie Lacy vs Oak ($5,200DK – $6,900FD) – It seems like Lacy may have turned the corner as the Packers make their playoff push, expect Lacy to hit value easily against Oakland.
James White vs Tenn ($4,600DK – $6,400FD) – With Blount gone, there will be more touches to go around and White is the passing down RB for New England.
Charcandrick West vs Bal ($4,800DK – $5,900FD) – If Ware misses the game, West will again have the backfield to himself, so he will be worth the play at his price.
Denard Robinson vs Atl ($4,600DK – $6,300FD) – There is no one else in Jax to carry the rock if T.J misses the game besides DRob, expect over 20 touches for him.
Theo Riddick vs N.O ($4,000DK – $5,400FD) – Riddick is often used as an extra slot WR and could rack up catches versus N.O.
BOTTOM TIER RB
Tim Hightower vs Det ($3,900DK – $6,300FD) – 29 touches in his first start in 4 years. Clearly he will be used as the bell cow so for this price, you need to play him.
Bilal Powell vs Dal ($3,600DK – $5,300FD) – In his last 2 games Powell has 13Cths for 137ReY and 2TDs. Could have a lot of Value for his price.
Fozzy Whitaker vs NYG ($3,000DK – $4,800FD) – If Fozzy gets the start due to JStew’s injury, he could put up 100 rushing against a bad Giants D.
TOP TIER WR
Alshon Jeffrey vs Minn ($7,300DK – $7,900FD) – Alshon is always a threat to put up huge numbers and with Cutler at QB, he will get plenty of targets.
Eric Decker vs Dal ($6,300DK – $7,500FD) – Every week Decker takes advantage of single coverage, especially in the red zone. He should continue that trend against the Cowboys this week.
Jarvis Landry vs S.D ($6,300DK – $7,100FD) – PPR machine in 2 of his last 3 games with 24Cths in those 2 games. Should continue being the focal point of the passing game.
MIDDLE TIER WR
Brandin Cooks vs Det ($5,900DK – $7,000FD) – Brees plays a lot better at home than he does on the road. When he plays better, Cooks usually has a big day.
Jeremy Maclin vs Bal ($5,500DK – $6,700FD) – JMac has been a lot more involved in the game plan the last 3 weeks and should continue to roll against a really bad secondary.
Golden Tate vs N.O ($5,500DK – $6,900FD) – Playing against the Saints, in a dome against single coverage. He could have 2TDs again like he did last week.
John Brown vs Phi ($4,900DK – $6,300FD) – Has scored a TD or had 99+ ReY his last 4 games and Palmer has been on fire.
Willie Snead vs Det ($4,800DK – $6,000FD) – Snead looks like he may be healthy again. For this price in a PPR setting, he should be able to easily give you value.
Michael Floyd vs Phi ($4,400DK – $6,100FD) – 100ReY in back to back games, seems like he is catching fire at the right time for AZ.
Tyler Lockett vs Cle ($4,200DK – $6,000FD) – DBaldwin should see more attention from the secondary, leaving Lockett in a lot of one on one, he will win most of them.
Gary Barnidge vs Sea ($5,000DK – $6,400FD) – Seattle’s D is good but they are below average against TE’s. Barnidge should have a solid day.
Heath Miller vs Den ($3,700DK – $5,600FD) – With ABrown and MBryant receiving most of the defensive attention, Miller will be open for a lot of dumpoffs.
Zach Miller vs Minn ($3,600DK – $5,500FD) – Miller is starting to get more comfortable with Cutler and it shows. For the price, he is a really good play.
Vernon Davis vs Pitt ($3,300DK – $5,200) – Could be developing into Osweiler’s safety valve after getting 7Cths last week.
Willie Tye vs Car ($3,100DK – $4,900FD) – Has been putting up ok numbers for his price, Eli will need all the passing targets he can get against the Panthers.
K.C vs Bal ($3,700DK – $5,200FD) – Whether Its Clausen or Schaub the Chiefs D has been hot, so they could shut sdown Bmore.
Cin vs S.F ($3,400DK – $4,900FD) – They know they lost ADalton and their playoff seeding may be up to them.
Hou vs Ind ($2,500DK – $4,900FD) – Hasselbeck is hurt and Whitehurst is not good, whoever they play, Houston should be able to shut them down.
