Javimente’s Week 3 DFS Picks

Welcome back everybody to Javimente’s DFS weekly picks!  This is where I offer a list of players that according to their price and usage in their systems (targets and overall touches), are the best options to bring you high production at the lowest price, making them great value picks.  A player hitting his value would mean that that player scored 3 times their price, for example, $4,000 x 3 =12pts.  I will not be advising you to use the “Top Tier” players, as they are the players everybody knows about.  If you haven’t played DFS before, you want to pair a couple of these great value players with the more expensive players that you know will come through with great numbers week in and week out, to give you the highest point total possible and ideally give you a chance to win some cash!  DraftKing prices are annotated by the DK next to the price.  So with that being said, let’s get it started!

My picks went 22-11 last week.  Let’s keep the momentum going this week!

Derek Carr vs Ten ($6,900DK) – Oakland is loaded with weapons on the offensive side.  The Titants have allowed the 9th most FF points to QBs since the beginning of last season.

Matthew Stafford vs GB ($6,800DK) – The Packers just allowed Bradford to throw all over them, I would feel real good about starting Stafford this week.

Phillip Rivers vs Ind ($6,700DK) – The Colts secondary is still healing from injuries and the Chargers just keep coming up with quality WRs for Rivers to utilize.

Blake Bortles vs Bmore ($6,500DK) – Bortles who is averaging 325PaY, is always a threat to go off, especially against a weak secondary like Baltimroe’s.

Ryan Tannehill vs Cle ($6,200DK) – The Browns have allowed on average 290PaY and 2TDs per game this season to QBs.  With Tannehill’s dual threat ability, he should hit value easily.

Marcus Mariota vs Oak ($5,900DK) – The Raiders are dead last against QBs and Mariota is becoming a more dangerous QB with a running game to execute play action passes better.  I expect a lot of that in this game.

Ryan Fitzpatrick vs KC ($5,800DK) – Although the Chiefs are a good pass defense, Fitz has 3 very capable WRs and one of the best pass catching RBs in the league.

Christine Michael vs S.F ($5,000DK) – He will the workhorse this week against a defense that just made Fozzy Whitaker look like an All-Pro.  Michael should he be able to hit value this week.

Charles Sims vs L.A ($4,900DK) –.Sims will be the workhorse back this week and I believe he will be heavily involved the pass game just as much as the running game.

Theo Riddick vs G.B ($4,800DK) – With Abdullah out, Riddick will assume all the passing down snaps as well as a bigger portion of the running down snaps.  Riddick Will pick up the points easily in this game.

Tevin Coleman vs N.O ($4,500DK) – Coleman is sharing the backfield with Freeman but he is getting enough snaps to warrant a spot on your lineup.  He is doing damage with receptions as well.

Gio Bernard vs Den ($4,300DK) – Gio is the better back in Cincinnati at the moment and Denver is pretty good against the run.  Gio could have a similar game to last week’s where he had 9Cths and 100ReY.

Chris Ivory vs Bmore ($3,900DK) – If Ivory plays he will get the early down as well as the goalline work.  The Jags picked him up to be a lead back, and this week could be the beginning of that.

Fozzy Whittaker vs Min ($3,800DK) – Fozzy will more than likely be the passing down back and could get some work against a challenging Vikings defense.

Jerrick Mckinnon vs Car ($3,800DK) – JMack will be the lead back for the Vikings for the next 2 months or so.  His price will more than likely shoot up after this week so take advantage of it.

Shane Vereen vs Wash ($3,700DK) – With Jennings not 100% healthy Vereen could get extra burn and his role in the passing game, he could end up with a nice stat line.

Jordan Howard vs Dal ($3,300DK) – If Carey doesn’t play this week, Howard will get more playing time as Langford has been un spectacular this season.  Against the Dallas defense it could be a nice game for Howard.

Larry Fitzgerald vs Buf ($6,900DK) – Fitz should have no problem finding space to make plenty of catches against a defense that just carved up by the Jets receivers.

T.Y Hilton vs S.D ($6,800DK) – With Moncrief out, T.Y will see even more targets starting this weekend.  This game should be high scoring so play Hilton without thinking twice.

Marvin Jones Jr. vs GB ($6,200DK) – GB will be out their top 2 DBs in this game.  Staff will be slinging it all over the field and Jones will see plenty of targets coming his way.

Travis Benjamin vs Ind ($5,200DK) – In Benjamin’s first game as a primary target for Rivers, he goes off for 6Cths for 115ReY and 2 TDS.  This week could be a similar outcome.

Mike Wallace vs Jax ($5,000DK) – Flacco’s top downfield target should get plenty of work versus a bad Jaguar’s secondary.

Devante Parker vs Cle ($4,900DK) – Parker, who is becoming a constant target of Tannehill’s when he is on the field, should see some work against the Browns this weekend.

Tajae Sharpe vs Oak ($4,800DK) – The Raiders have allowed the most FF points to receivers this season.

Phillip Dorsett vs S.D ($4,400DK) – With Moncrief being out, Dorsett will get more playing time.  Against the Chargers, he should have good game against the bad Chargers defense.

Tyrell Williams vs Ind ($4,300DK) – The Colts have surrendered the 8th most receiving yards in the league.  Williams will get a great opportunity to put up good numbers this Sunday.

Kenny Stills vs Cle ($3,600DK) – A Boom or Bust play, Stills averages 25yards per target this season.  The Browns have been known to allow some big plays.

Cole Beasley vs Was ($3,200DK) – Beasley who has 13 Cths this season is becoming a nice dump off target for Dak.

Dennis Pitta vs Jax ($3,400DK) – Pitta has been a really good player when he is on the field and he is finally back.  He will blow past his value this week.

Coby Fleener vs Atl ($3,300DK) – Give the man one more chance I say.  The Falcons have already allowed 7TDs receptions this season.

Jacob Tamme vs N.O ($3,200DK) – Tamme has 11 Cths in 2 games this season and in this possible high scoring game, Tamme could see a good number of targets, especially in the red zone.

Hunter Henry vs Jax ($2,500DK) – Henry will be a nice target for Rivers if Gates end up missing the game on Sunday.

T.B vs L.A ($3,100DK) – Gurley may do some damage but the Bucs should be able to control the game.

Mia vs Cle ($3,000DK) – The Dolphins will be playing against a rookie QB with minimal weapons around him.

Good luck with your picks this week.  If I helped you win, you’re welcome!  If I helped you lose, you just didn’t use the right combination of guys I gave you.  HAHAHAHAHA #GetAtMe
