Javimente’s Week 7 DFS Picks

Welcome back everybody to Javimente’s DFS weekly picks!  This is where I offer a list of players that according to their price and usage in their systems (targets and overall touches), are the best options to bring you high production at the lowest price, making them great value picks.  A player hitting his value would mean that that player scored 3 times their price, for example, $4,000 x 3 =12pts.  I will not be advising you to use the “Top Tier” players, as they are the players everybody knows about.  If you haven’t played DFS before, you want to pair a couple of these great value players with the more expensive players that you know will come through with great numbers week in and week out, to give you the highest point total possible and ideally give you a chance to win some cash!  DraftKings prices are annotated by the DK next to the price.  So with that being said, let’s get it started!

My picks went 6-15 last week.  That makes me 100-92 on the season!  Hope my picks worked for you last week, but they probably didn’t.
SUNDAY-MONDAY GAMES
MID TIER QB (6K)

Phillip Rivers vs Atl ($6,500DK) – Before last week Rivers had thrown for over 320 yards 3 weeks in a row.  Atl is no Denver.  Roll with Rivers this week.

Eli Manning vs L.A ($6,100DK) – If his OLine can give him some time, Eli should be able to beat this secondary over and over again.  I think last week was a sign of good things to come.

Andy Dalton vs Cle ($6,000DK) – The Browns have allowed 16 passing TDs through the first 6 weeks of this season.  I believe Dalton will have no problem going up against this secondary.

BOTTOM TIER QB(5K-4K)

Kirk Cousins vs Det ($5,900DK) – When u have a defense that allows Case Keenum to throw for over 300 yards, what do you do the next week?  You play the QB that plays that defense.  This week that’s, Captain Kirk.

Colin Kaepernick vs TB ($5,000DK) – The Bucs allowed at least 2 passing TDs in the their first 4 games this season.  That coupled with Kaep’s running ability and you have a QB that could have some nice numbers on Sunday.
MID TIER RB (6K-5K)

Devante Freeman vs S.D ($5,900DK) – DFree is going against a D that has allowed 9 rushing TDs this year.  He may be in a timeshare but he has been making the most out of his opportunity and should have plenty of those opportunities on Sunday.

Spencer Ware vs N.O ($5,800DK) – JCharles may miss the game and even if he doesn’t, Ware set a career high in carries and RuY last week with Charles playing.  Mix that with the Saints defense and Ware could explode!
BOTTOM TIER RB (4K-3K)

LeGarette Blount vs Pit ($4,900DK) – Blount may be losing carries with Brady’s return.  But he is seeing a lot less defenders in the box because of Brady’s return.  With Big Ben out, this game could turn ugly quick, giving Blount an opportunity to run the clock out.

Tevin Coleman vs S.D ($4,900DK) – Coleman hasn’t had more than 15 touches in any game this year, but with his break away speed, he has still managed to be a top 10 back in PPR settings.  The Chargers won’t be able to contain him when he gets the ball.

Terrence West vs NYJ ($4,800DK) – With a new Offensive coah in place, TWest was used as a true workhorse last week and it paid off.  The Jets just gave up 171RuY last week, so West could have a real nice day.

Jaquizz Rodgers vs S.F ($4,300DK) – In TB’s last game, JRod touched the ball 35 times!!!  The 49ers allow 5 yards per carry so far this season.  JRod should have a nice stat line by the time the game is over.

Bilal Powell vs Bal ($3,700DK) – Before last week, Powell had 6 cathces in 3 straight games.  With Geno at QB, little dump offs may be a big part of their O on Sunday and Powell should match those 6 catches easy.
MIDDLE TIER WR (6K-5K)

Michael Crabtree vs KC ($6,600DK) – The Jaguars have allowed the sixth-most touchdowns per game and ninth-most fantasy points to receivers this season.  Crabb also gets 21% of the passing O so far this season.

Desean Jackson vs Det ($5,700DK) – DJax has seen 16 targets the last 2 weeks.  He hasn’t broken out so far this season, but I feel like against the Lions, he will.

Sterling Shepard vs L.A ($5,100DK) – After last week’s gaem, you best believe all eys will be on OBJ, if they weren’t already.  That when Shepard will break through.
BOTTOM TIER WR (4K-3K)

Terrence Williams vs Atl ($4,400DK) – If TBenjamin misses this game, TWill may see A LOT of targets going his way.  Against this Falcons secondary, that is definitely good news.

Kendall Wright vs Ind ($3,700DK) – Last week could be a sign of KWright returning to his PPR machine form of 2 years ago, and if so, he is an absolute steal at his prize against this horrible secondary.

Chester Rogers vs Ten ($3,000DK) – Phillip Dorsett will miss the game, making Rogers number 2 in the depth chart.  The Colts should be playing from behind making Rogers a breakout candidate.
BOTTOM TIER TE (4k-3K)

Delanie Walker vs Ind ($4,900DK) – The Colts have allowed the 8th most yards per game to TE’s.  Mariotta should have a field day on Sunday and Walker may be a big part of it.

Hunter Henry vs Atl ($3,600DK) – Henry has scored a TD in 3 straight games.  With this game sure to be a shootout, Henry will be a big part of it.

Vernon Davis vs Det ($2,900DK) – Davis got the most of his opportunities last week and should do so again this week against a defense that is bad against TEs.

Jack Doyle vs Ten ($2,500DK) – Doyle will be an every down TE Sunday and should see some redzone looks along with regular targets with the Colts more than likely playing from behind.

Good luck with your picks this week.  If I helped you win, you’re welcome!  If I helped you lose, you just didn’t use the right combination of guys I gave you.  HAHAHAHAHA #GetAtMe
