Waiver Wire Week 6

Davonte Adams WR Green Bay Packers- if you told me the star of the Thursday night game would have been jordy Nelson or alshon jeffery that’s believable, maybe even Randall Cobb but Davonte Adams !? He was on fire catching 13 passes for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns. A truly out of nowhere performance. On a night where Green Bay used a wideout as a running back you can bet they threw the ball a ton and almost every receiver benefitted (sorry jordy). Adams play was defiantly increased by the lack of a running game but still those are some great numbers to go home with. I would add Adams in every league I can because if he keeps this pace he’s easily starter worthy.

Jaquizz Rodgers RB Tampa Bay Buccaneers- this guy has been on fire since he got the starting role in Tampa. 2 games 253 rush yards, 101 last week and 152 this week. Hopefully all the Doug Martin owners grabbed this guy but now it may be too late. Doug has shown no sign of really getting back on the field it seems every week he could play then he has a setback. As long as Rodgers is leading the backfield he is a rb2, once Martin comes back his value suffers.

Chris Thompson RB Washington Redskins – Matt jones coming off a great week 6 had a game to forget in week 7, fumbling twice and costing the redskins the game. Once jones went to the bench Thompson stepped in and had a nice role 73 yards rushing and 40 receiving on 7 catches. This is solid production and the redskins could lean on him a lot more if Jones struggles again. A nice PPR option.

Devontae Booker RB Denver Broncos- a promising backup in Denver who with his limited looks has been pretty impressive, and he’s got another thing on his side Gary Kubiak has said multiple times he will be more involved. He is a very sneaky add right before he plays on Monday night, to get him.

Image result for Tyrell Williams

Tyrell Williams WR San Diego Chargers -up to now no Chargers receiver has cemented themselves as the #1 receiver but Williams made a strong case Sunday catching 7 balls for 140 yards . Travis Benjamin outside of one or two big weeks has been anything but impressive. Tyrell should see major looks the rest of the season and is a solid WR2 in all formats.
