Sammy Watkins WR Buffalo Bills- Guess who’s backkkk. Much forgot about after he went down with an injury very early in the season Watkins found himself on waivers, now back and it looks like he hasn’t missed a beat 3 catches for 80 yards in his first game back is very solid production. As he gets back up to 100% healthy his production should soar. Watkins was probably taken in the second or third round of drafts and for good reason, he is an elite vertical threat and when healthy he is a WR1. He needs to be added in every league.
Colin Kaepernick QB San Francisco 49ers- The 49ers as a team are terrible, dropping the past 10 games but luckily for fantasy owners they don’t have to win the games to be effective. The fact is Kaepernick has had 20+ fantasy points in each of his last 4 games as a starter. Showing some of his rookie form he is an above average passer and still has plenty of life left in his legs. Throwing for over 200 yards in each game and at least 2 total touchdowns he is a legit starting quarterback option in fantasy. He’ll never have the appeal of Rodgers or Brady but he gets the job done.
Dontrelle Inman WR San Diego Chargers- A huge game for Inman against the Texans on Sunday, 6 catches 119 yards and a touchdown, a very good secondary could not handle Inman downfield and looked great the whole day. His counterpart Ty Williams left the game with a shoulder injury and his availability for next week for sure is in question. If Williams misses time Inman’s value rises even further. This showing could be a flash in the pan but Inman is always on the field so consistent targets should be there.
Taylor Gabriel WR Atlanta Falcons- Gabriel had two highlight touchdowns on Sunday where he sneaked around the defense and dove over the pilon. He sure is exciting to watch and could help your fantasy team as well. Matt Ryan loves to get it to Gabriel and let him make people miss, much like a Wes Welker, Julian Edelman type in my eyes. He has 5 touchdowns in his past 4 games and is only owned in less than 3% of fantasy leagues. He has Matt Ryan’s trust in a pass heavy offense, for sure worth an add.
Marquess Wilson WR Chicago Bears- Someone had to step up for the bears, with Alshon suspended and Zach Miller out for the year somebody must catch the ball. The immediate benefactor of these two being out was Wilson, posting over 100 yards receiving and a touchdown. Wilson could have added another as he saw one slip out of his hands but he was the one weapon that stood out among the rest. With Alshon sidelined for another 3 weeks Wilson is a good play for the upcoming playoff push.
