Welcome back everybody to Javimente’s DFS weekly picks! This is where I offer a list of players that according to their price and usage in their systems (targets and overall touches), are the best options to bring you high production at the lowest price, making them great value picks. A player hitting his value would mean that that player scored 3 times their price, for example, $4,000 x 3 =12pts. I will not be advising you to use the “Top Tier” players, as they are the players everybody knows about. If you haven’t played DFS before, you want to pair a couple of these great value players with the more expensive players that you know will come through with great numbers week in and week out, to give you the highest point total possible and ideally give you a chance to win some cash! DraftKings prices are annotated by the DK next to the price. So with that being said, let’s get it started!
My picks went 15-10 last week. That makes me 172-145 on the season! Hope my picks worked for you last week!
D.Carr vs Buff ($6,500DK) – Carr got back to business last week throwing his 6th multi TD game of the season. Buffalo’s secondary is a little banged up and Carr will take advantage of it.
P.Rivers vs T.B ($6,500DK) – The Bucs have allowed the 7th most yards per drop back and 7th highest TD rate in the league. He should be slinging it like usual and hit value easily.
C.Kaepernick vs Chi ($6,100DK) – Kaep ran for a season high 113 yards last week and his running ability will always keep him over or close to value.
T.Taylor vs Oak ($5,700DK) – Taylor who has 5 rushing TD on the season will help you hit value with his ability to run the ball. Oakland’s secondary isn’t that great so he should be able to throw a good bit too.
S.Ware vs Atl ($6,400DK) – The Falcons have allowed a league high 8 catches per game to opponents backfield. Ware should be involved early and often.
D.Martin vs S.D ($5,700DK) – Martin has touched the rock at least 25 times in his last 2 games. For that kind of volume, this price is dirt cheap.
L.Miller vs G.B ($5,600DK) – Miller, who is 6th in the league in total touches, should get a heavy workload against G.B as they will try to keep Rodgers off the field.
C.Hyde vs Chi ($5,300DK) – With Kaep getting more and more dangerous, it’s gonna open things up for Hyde in the coming weeks. He always gets 15-20 touches and goal line looks so for this price he is a bargain.
D.Booker vs Jax ($5,100DK) – Book has at least 25 touches in back to back game. With the rookie Lynch running the show on Sunday, he should be leaned on heavily.
F.Gore vs NYJ ($4,900DK) – Before last week, Gore had scored at least 12 FFP in 5 straight games. If Luck come back this week, look for Gore to get back to normal.
T.Hightower vs Det ($4,800DK) – Hightower has 100 total yards in 3 of his last 4 weeks. He continues to be a big part of the offense and could do some work against the Lions.
J.Hill vs Phi ($4,300DK) – Hill saw a career high in targets and receptions last week in Gio’s 1st game out. That trend should continue this week.
D.Moncrief vs NYJ ($6,600DK) – Moncrief has scored a TD in 4 straight games and against this struggling Jets secondary, I don’t see that streak stopping.
J.Crowder vs Ari ($5,800DK) – Crowder has averaged around 6 catches per game in his last 5 games. With Reed out and The Honey Badger not around to cover the slot, Crowder could have a real nice game.
T.Hill vs Atl ($4,600DK) – The Chiefs have been working on getting Hill more involved as he has 23 catches in his last 3 games. He should get plenty of targets as the Chiefs will try to keep up with the Falcons.
Q.Enunwa vs Ind ($4,500DK) – Quincy came alive last week and should continue to bounce back against a bad Colts secondary with most of the attention on BMarsh.
A.Boldin vs N.O ($4,100DK) – Boldin is taking advantage of his opportunities scoring a TD in 2 of his last 3 games.
C.Fleener vs Det ($3,500DK) – Fleener is the 3rd highest scoring TD in weeks where he plays at home. He plays at home this week in what should be a shootout.
L.Kendricks vs N.E ($2,900DK) – Kendricks could be a bit of a security blanket for Goff against the Pats especially with Austin missing this game.
Good luck with your picks this week. If I helped you win, you’re welcome! If I helped you lose, you just didn’t use the right combination of guys I gave you. HAHAHAHAHA #GetAtMe
