Waiver Wire Week 14

I will steer away from writing about quarterbacks this far into the season. If you made it this far you probably have your guy and I will focus more on X factor flex players who can help you win your championship.

Ted Ginn WR Carolina Panthers- Another 50 yard touchdown for the veteran, with the worst matchup imaginable for a boom or bust receiver Ginn got it done. At least one touchdown in each of the last 3 games and all being over 40 yards through the air he is a deep threat to the extreme. If you are looking for a volume receiver, he is not your guy but his home run potential could warrant a start in your fantasy playoffs. With A.J. Green still sidelined and lack of options on the waiver Ginn has top 20 upside this week for me, go grab him.

Tyler Lockett WR Seattle Seahawks- Talk about deep threat this is another guy that can absolutely tear the top off a defense. A dismal season to this point Lockett logged a solid game against the Panthers on Sunday catching 5 for 63 yards, but Lockett found the end zone rushing the ball. Something we haven’t seen that much this season but anytime Lockett has the ball in his hands it is something to watch. This could be one week wonder play here but if your grabbing at straws he always has big play upside.

Dennis Pitta TE Baltimore Ravens- Your best fantasy tight end in week 13 everybody he lit up the stat sheet with 9 catches for 90 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. A very good volume tight end week in and week out but had trouble near the red zone until this week. As bad as tight ends have been in fantasy this season Pitta could save your season. A tough matchup next week against the Patriots but Flacco is always looking his way. Any time a tight end can get more than 5 catches consistently he should be owned.

Ladarius Green TE Pittsburg Steelers- Finally Green sees green in the Steelers offense. 6 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown. True high end numbers for a tight end in this season and Green has a Hall of Fame quarterback throwing him the ball in Big Ben. The hype surrounding Green has been looming all season and it is finally here. A top 10 play at the position for the rest of the fantasy season.
