Welcome back everybody to Javimente’s DFS weekly picks! This is where I offer a list of players that according to their price and usage in their systems (targets and overall touches), are the best options to bring you high production at the lowest price, making them great value picks. A player hitting his value would mean that that player scored 3 times their price, for example, $4,000 x 3 =12pts. I will not be advising you to use the “Top Tier” players, as they are the players everybody knows about. If you haven’t played DFS before, you want to pair a couple of these great value players with the more expensive players that you know will come through with great numbers week in and week out, to give you the highest point total possible and ideally give you a chance to win some cash! DraftKings prices are annotated by the DK next to the price. So with that being said, let’s get it started!
My picks went 15-10 last week. That makes me 172-145 on the season! Hope my picks worked for you last week!
LAST WEEK WAS BAD….LIKE REALLY BAD! IM THROWING LAST WEEK AWAY….. DISPOSED OF…..WILL NO LONGER TALK ABOUT IT…. STOP ASKING ME ABOUT IT LOL……. LETS MOVE ON!
P.Rivers vs Car ($6,600DK) – The Panthers have given up the 7th most FF to QBs this season. Rivers has surpassed 18FF in 5 of his last 6 gmes.
K.Cousins vs Phi ($6,300DK) – Cousins has thrown either 300+ PaY or 2 TDs in 6 of his last 7 games. The Eagles have allowed over 300 PaY and 2 TDs in their last 2 games. It should be 3 after Sunday.
C.Palmer vs Mia ($5,700DK) – Palmer had his best game of the year last week yet his price still pretty low going against a Dolphins D that has allowed 21 passing TDs this year.
E.Manning vs Dal ($5,500DK) – Manning hasn’t been great over the last month, which is why his price is so low. Going against a banged up secondary and a bad pass rush, Eli could end up winning you some money.
D.Freeman vs LA ($6,100DK) – With Julio Jones possibly limited or out of this game, Freeman could shoulder a bigger load on Sunday. His involvement in the passing game will help him blow past his value.
L.Miller vs Ind ($5,100DK) – Last time the Colts played Houston in week 6 Miller had 27 touches for 178 yards and 2 TDs. Having a big game like that is likely and for this price, you can’t do a lot better than that.
T.Gurley vs Atl ($5,000DK) – Gurley has been pretty bad this season. Benny Cunningham may miss the game which means Gurley will get the passing down work as well. A few more catches than usual would give him more opportunities to make something happen.
F.Gore vs Hou ($4,800DK) – Gore ran for a season high 106 yards against the Texans week 6. He has 4 straight games of at least 16 touches and should be involved in this divisional game.
T.Hightower vs T.B ($4,500DK) – If Ingram misses the game, Hightower will get the full workload. He should see 17-20 touches.
R.Kelley vs Phi ($4,200DK) – The Redskins wanna get Fat Rob more involved. One can only hope they are talking about the passing game which will definitely help him go past his value points.
G.Tate vs Chi ($6,600DK) – Tate has 13 catches and 222ReY in his last 2 games. He will look to have another productive this week at home against a bad secondary.
S.Diggs vs Jax ($6,500DK) – Healthy once again, Diggs could get back to his Week 9 and 10 self where he caught 26 passes in 2 games.
T.Pryor vs Cin ($5,900DK) – Pryor has caught at least 5 passes in 5 straight games. With RG3 possibly back, the long ball may be back in play for Pryor more than it has in the past 2 months.
D.Jackson vs Phi ($5,200DK) – DJax playing Philly in Philly is always exciting and he should get a couple chances down field.
M.Mitchell vs Bal ($4,200DK) – In his last 3 games Mitchell has 17 Catches for 222ReY and 3 TDs. Amendola should miss one more game giving Mitchell another week to produce.
C.Brate vs N.O ($4,100DK) – Brate has gained Winston’s trust as he has 5 catches or more in 3 of his last 5 games. He could be heavily targeted against the Saints.
C.Fiedorowicz vs Ind ($3,900DK) – Osweiler loves throwing to the TE as C.J has 14 catches in his last 3 games. The Texans may be playing form behind and C.J could get a healthy amount of looks.
